Olympusat, operator of Spanish-language networks in the US since 1999, has taken on board a package of fictional content from ORF-Enterprise's colorful portfolio of TV-Movies and TV-Series.
Ultra Film will air Carve The Joint (El Bromista), Death on Ice (Muerte en el Hielo) from ORF's crime strand Backwoods Crimes as well as CopStories (Historias de Policia).
The detective series The Nosy Brothers (Detectives por Accidente), Janus (Psicología del Crimen) and ORF's best rated series Fast Forward (Intuicion Criminal) will be shown on Ultra Macho.
The prehistoric comedy mini-series Stone Age Affairs (Romance en la Edad de Piedra) premiered on Ultra Familia while Spotlight Murder (Asesinato En La Mira) re-enacts true crime on Ultra Docu.
"We are pleased to see that the footprint of Austrian fictional content continues to grow in territories all over the world. The deal with Olympusat now makes ORF’s rich fiction catalog available to Spanish speaking audiences.", says Armin Luttenberger, Head of Content Sales International.
"We have a solid track record of identifying content that will be successful and ORF productions enable us to significantly expand our library," says John Baghdassarian, Vice President, Content Acquisitions and Strategy at Olympusat. "We’re always looking for ways to increase the wealth of choice available to viewers."
