ORF UNIVERSUM SCORES IN FRENCH-SPEAKING TERRITORIES

In the weeks leading up to this year's MIPCOM, ORF-Enterprise has successfully inked numerous deals with French-speaking broadcasters.

 

RTBF (Belgium) picked up the two-part 4K programs "Cuba's Wild Revolution" and "Greece - The Wild Side". In addition to that, RTBF also secured the rights to the award-winning two-parter "Russia's Wild Sea" as well as the wildlife programs "Wild Austria - Created by Water" and "Wild Way of the Vikings".

 

The RTS (Switzerland) audience can look forward to "Cuba's Wild Revolution" and "Kestrels at Close Quarters".

 

"Seefeld - Tyrolean Wonderland" and "Wild Shetland" were picked up by ARTE and will soon be offered to their French and German audiences. Part one of "Seefeld - Tyrolean Wonderland - The Realm of the Peregrine Falcon” shows the landscape’s diversity of the heart of Tyrol while "Wild Shetland" draws the audience into the sheer beauty and drama of Scotland’s most northerly isles and shows from otters to puffins a spectacular underwater diving gannets as well as rarely seen storm petrels.

 

The Catholic channel KTO (France) acquired musical programs "Baroque Treasures - George Frideric Handel's Messiah" (in which The Bach Consort Ensemble presents their festive Easter Concert from the Klosterneuburg Monastery) as well as "Franz Schubert - Mass in a Flat Major" from Styriarte 2018.
