The orchestra concert “Eroica – Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony – Styriarte 2023”, acquired by Taiwanese public broadcaster TaiwanPlus last year, has now been launched on the broadcaster’s video platform, bringing Austrian musical heritage to audiences in East Asia.

AUSTRIA/TAIWAN – ORF-Enterprise announces that the concert production “Eroica – Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony – Styriarte 2023”, licensed to TaiwanPlus in 2025, has been released this year on an international online video platform curated by TaiwanPlus. The launch marks a new distribution window for the production and highlights the continued global interest in high-quality Austrian music content beyond its initial acquisition.

“Eroica – Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony – Styriarte 2023” presents Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, performed by the Styriarte Youth Orchestra under the baton of Taiwanese-American conductor Mei-Ann Chen. The concert was recorded on July 14, 2023, at Styriarte’s Klangwolke.

The concert was directed by Veronika Hofer-Stein and produced by ORF in association with ORF III and Styriarte. It showcases a symphony orchestra composed of highly qualified young international musicians and features one of Beethoven’s most celebrated and frequently performed symphonic works.

The concert is distributed internationally by ORF-Enterprise.
