59. Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity
Das International Festival of Creativity, auch unter dem Namen Cannes Lions bekannt, ist der führende Kreativitäts-Event im Bereich Kommunikation. Das 1954 gegründete Festival findet jeden Juni im französischen Cannes statt.

Bei diesen prestigeträchtigsten aller jährlich stattfindenden internationalen Werbe- und Kommunikations-Awards werden über 28.800 Arbeiten aus aller Welt gezeigt und beurteilt. Die Siegeragenturen werden mit den begehrten Löwen ausgezeichnet, die für die kreativsten Arbeiten in den Kategorien Film, Print, Outdoor, Interactive, Radio, Design, Promo & Activation, Film Craft und Integrated Advertising, für die besten Medien-, Direct-, PR-, Titanium- und Creative Effectiveness-Ideen, sowie heuer erstmals in den neuen Kategorien MOBILE sowie BRANDED CONTENT & ENTERTAINMENT verliehen werden.

Das Festival ist auch der einzige internationale Place-to-be für Werbetreibende und Fachleute aus der Werbe- und Kommunikationsbranche. An den siebentägigen Ausstellungen und Screenings sowie an über 57 hochkarätigen Seminaren, 20 Workshops und Meisterklassen renommierter internationaler Branchenführer nahmen im Vorjahr fast 9.500 Delegierte aus 95 Ländern teil.
